It's Labor Day Weekend and that means celebrating Pioneer Days in Englewood.  There's loads of activities happening all weekend in the area and certainly don't forget the Parade on Dearborn Street on Monday.  Come and join us here for the festival - a celebration of our town and its history.

For events and things to do in the area take a look at these!  From Sarasota County August 2nd and from Charlotte County EVENTS August 2010.

A look at our wonderful Englewood Beach today August 2 at lunchtime.  All is well - good, clean sand and sea.  Turtle nests are safe and progressing well.  Come on down and experience a relaxing visit to our beaches; maybe rent a boat and do some fishing; get out those golf clubs and enjoy an unhurried round at one of the many courses within ten miles of our excellently equipped rental homes.  See just why the locals vacation on our own doorstep!

It is a wonderful day here in paradise hot and sunny with just a few white puffy clouds.  For those of you in the area who want to know what's going on here is the link to events in Sarasota County start with ice cream - have fun!

After a soggy July 4th weekend we are back to our traditional hot and sunny days.

I have managed to copy the map from The National Oceanographic and Atomspheric Administration (NOAA) which clearly shows we here in SW Florida have less than 1% probability of being hit by the oil from the Deep Horizon spill.

The weather is absolutely gorgeous - blue skies and warm; the beaches are clean and beautiful; our golf courses all look good and are waiting for you!!  Come on over to our little piece of paradise - laid back and casual, we enjoy beaching, fishing, boating and eating in great family owned restaurants.  For the more ambitious we have golfing, diving, theatre and attractions such as aquariums, museums, State Parks and our very own baseball team the Stone Crabs.  Why not give us a try!
